The Book of T.J.

Oh quiet and gentle night,
Won't you hear my plea.
Take hold of this body,
Please come rescue me.
Oh dark and mysterious night,
Bring me what I need.
Let my mind wander endlessly,
Into your world of dreams.
Oh, my best friend night,
Why did you take so long.
My mind has been so weak,
My body no longer strong.
You are hear now night,
So I won't ask you any more.
Just let me stay a while,
Before you kick me out the door.
Oh sweet and loving night,
Thank you for the dreams.
I will never say good-bye to you,
Or at least that's how it seems.
But now you must leave, dear night,
The slumber must come to an end.
I can only day dream of the moment,
In which you come back to me again.
